I'm going to be a grandma!

Nathan and Sheri are expecting a little one. :) They are about 5 weeks along, so we have quite the wait ahead of us. I'm so excited for them and for myself! They are going to be great parents! Is it selfish for me to hope for a little girl?? I just want to go buy pink stuff! A boy would be fun, too, though. Spending a few hours with Karston the other day made me not so worried about a boy. The thing is- all of my babies have been girls! I had to steal my sons, so I missed out on the baby part. Whatever- I just am so excited, healthy baby- that's what I'm hoping for! I'm especially thrilled that this makes so many ladies Great-Aunts! Ha ha!!! That sounds even older the Grandma!

BBQ in the Rain!

So awesome! My husband is outside determined to be BBQing even though it is pouring outside! It's little things like that that just make my day!

The End of Life in the CNA Classroom

Tomorrow will be my last day working as Julie's Aide in the CNA classroom. I'm really sad about it- I was just getting it all figured out! But, we got a new principle who is worried about technicalities- we are related. :( Hey- wow! I just realized we are only halfway related- maybe I should bring that up! Kidding aside, they are going to keep me, but I have to work in the Dental Assisting Class. What a bummer! At least we'll still get to have lunch together- and I won't have to try for the impossible (to be as awesome as Lucy- the most incredibly on top of things person you'll ever meet that gets to continue to be Julie's Aide.) I'll really miss the kids- I hope that the Dental Assisting kids are as awesome- can't imagine it though.
